Our Story

The word “kismet” means “fate” or “destiny”. Our owner and head chef has always believed in both. For his entire life he has had a love for delicious and authentic food. He also loved to share this food with his friends, family, and beyond. Thus, Kismet Mediterranean Grill was born, allowing him to combine these passions. Located in midtown Albany, NY, at the corner of Madison Avenue and S. Allen Street. We pride ourselves in being one of the highest rated restaurants in the neighborhood – maintaining the highest level of quality Mediterranean food & service possible.
